Breast revision procedures aim to improve breasts that have previously been operated on.
There are a multitude of reasons why some women opt for breast revision surgery. Some women who had implant surgery done elsewhere and now have issues requiring intervention including capsular contracture, rupture or droop. Other patients may have entered a different stage in their lives and feel they no longer require breast implants. In such cases, Mr Molajo can remove the breast implants, and perform a lift to reshape the breast to create a silhouette in keeping with the patient’s current body.
It is completely normal for some people to lose confidence in their appearance. In these circumstances, breast revision surgery can help to address this.

Due to the varying nature of this procedure, in your consultation, Mr Molajo will conduct a detailed assessment to identify the best options available.
Breast revision is available at our Bolton, Blackburn and West Yorkshire locations.
Due to the varying nature of this surgery, recovery will be assessed on an individual basis. As a guide, many breast revision surgery patients chose to stay in hospital overnight. You may wish to allow 1-2 weeks to recover following surgery depending on your occupation. Mr Molajo recommends wearing a surgical bra 24 hours a day for 6 weeks. Additionally, he also requests that you avoid heavy lifting and activities that cause bouncing for 6 weeks. This is to aid the recovery process.
1 week: wound check and review. Further wound advice is given as necessary.
6 weeks: You should be able to return to most of your normal activities. Your scars will start to fade.
After a few months: Your breasts will continue to soften and feel more natural. Your scars will continue to improve over the next 12-18 months.
The decision to have breast revision surgery is very personal, but empowering. With his relaxed but informative style, your consultation with Mr Molajo will seek to determine what you want to achieve. Due to the varying nature of this surgery, Mr Molajo will conduct a detailed assessment to identify the best treatment plan.
Surgery aims to restore self-confidence, however there are situations where it is not right for a patient. Mr Molajo will always offer his honest opinion and advise if surgery is not in your best interest. Patient safety is of the utmost importance as “safety first is safety always.”
Breast revision surgery often produces high satisfaction, but certain risks need consideration. They include risks common to all surgery including but not limited to; bleeding, infection, unpredictable scarring. Other risks include nipple related issues including sensation changes, inability to breast feed and loss of blood supply to the nipple leading to nipple loss (very rare).
In most cases the size achieved is close to what the patient wishes but it is not possible to guarantee final cup size. Where implants are used, the risks associated with implants must also be considered. At consultation, Mr Molajo will explain the risks involved.

After having found mr molajo last year I finally took the plunge last month and had my surgery! (Old implants removed, capsulectomy, new implants and a lift!) I have to say the care throughout and the final result is more than I could have ever wished for! He is not only a highly skilled and talented surgeon but one of the loveliest men you can meet, instantly making you feel at ease. I’m 6 weeks post op now and the whole experience has been fantastic - minimal pain, zero bruising and an amazing end result!

Mr Malajo was very approachable and explained the procedure in a straightforward way. No pressure was applied on me to proceed with the surgery. The surgery itself was a complete success (only minimal discomfort afterwards) and my recovery was complete in 5 weeks. My only regret is waiting until I was 71 before having the surgery.

Big up Mr Molajo… legend!!! Lovely man. He and his team really looked after me, I couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon. Down to earth , witty, 100% takes pride in his work. I had been wanting breast surgery for a few years and had had a couple of consultations with different surgeons but it never felt right. I decided to have another consultation and straight away I felt at ease with Mr Molajo and knew within minutes that I wanted him to do the surgery. He was clear, concise and didn’t put me under any pressure whilst outlining his thoughts. He has such a calm relaxing manner that I wasn’t even nervous about the surgery. Mr Molajo worked wonders with my breasts. Having had 3 children, I was unhappy with my deflated breasts. I had seen two different surgeons prior to Mr Molajo, who were very unpleasant and spoke about my body as though I wasn’t there. I thought I would have one last consultation with another surgeon, and I am glad I did. Mr Molajo is down to earth and made me feel completely at ease and much better.
