Earlobe repair
Earlobe repair (also referred to as “split earlobe”), is a procedure to repair earlobes that have either become ripped, split, stretched or torn. Often, split earlobes occur as the result of catching an earring on clothing leading to traumatic tear of the earlobe and being unable to wear earrings.

About Earlobe repair
Earlobe repair is performed under local anaesthesia and as day surgery.
Breast Augmentation is available at our Bolton, Blackburn and West Yorkshire locations.
The split earlobe repair takes at least 2 weeks to heal. If removable sutures are used, then they will need removal at the post op review. This is also an opportunity to check the wound healing. The wounds should be protected until fully healed. The scars will continue to mature for several months.
The decision to have earlobe repair surgery is very personal, but empowering. Mr Molajo will assess you and devise a plan in line with your expectations and motivations. It is important to understand that earlobe surgery is treating tissues that have previously been injured and so the aim is to create improvement not perfection.
Earlobe repair surgery usually produces high satisfaction, but certain risks need consideration. Risks common to all surgery including but not limited to; bleeding, infection, unpredictable scarring (including keloid) and the potential inability to re-pierce the ears at the site of the previous repair.
